BY PLANE

Bilbao airport is the biggest airport in the north of Spain, with direct flights from more than 30 different destinations. Within Europe, there are flights from Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Lisbon and London, among others. At domestic level, the airport has direct connections to Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Málaga, Vigo, La Coruña, Valencia, Alicante, the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.

The airport has a single terminal. To get to the airport from the city centre, we suggest the following options:

Taxi: the airport has a taxi rank at the exit from the passenger arrivals terminal.

Car hire: available within the airport, on the Parking level.

Bus:

The service linking the airport to the city centre is the number A3247.

It departs every 20 minutes, throughout the day. Services run from 05.20 from the city centre until 22.00 hours. From the airport, the first departure is at 06.20 and the last at midnight.

  BY CAR

  BY BUS

The Termibus bus station is right in the centre of the city. It connects Bilbao to most of the towns and cities in the Basque Country, Spain and much of Europe.

  BY TRAIN

The main railway station in Bilbao is Abando, which connects the city to destinations both in Spain and abroad.
