Konstantina Magklara is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, currently working in a university outpatient child and adolescent mental health service in Athens, Greece. She studied Medicine in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and subsequently completed a master’s degree in Health Management. Her training in child and adolescent psychiatry took place in a number of hospitals and health services in Switzerland (Basel, St. Gallen) and Greece. She completed her PhD degree in the University of Ioannina, Greece, on the epidemiology of common mental disorders in adolescence. She is training in family therapy in Athens, while she has completed a training course in systemic consultation and therapy in Germany. She has taken part in various research programs. Her research interests include early preventive programs and common mental disorders in adolescents.
